General Requirements:

  • 18 credit hours
  • 12 upper-division credit hours (3000-4999 level)
  • 2.0 Minor GPA
  • Residency: Last 9 credit hours of the minor must be completed while registered at UCCS Specific

Course Requirements

  • Either ECON 1010: Introduction to Microeconomics or Econ 1050: Economics in Practice
  • ECON 2020: Introduction to Macroeconomics
  • ECON 3410: International Economics
  • ECON 3770: Economic Development Economics

Electives

  • Two of the following courses:
    • ECON 4410: International Trade Policy
    • ECON 3510: Topics in Global Economic History 
    • ECON 3720: East Asian Economic Growth
    • ECON 3730: Economics of South Asia
